Damien Hirst's Empathy Hotel Suite at the Palms Casino Resort Costs in Las Vegas

Artist Demien Hirst became a designer in Las Vegas

One of the most expensive living artists, Briton Damien Hirst, together with
the Bentel & Bentel studio, designed the Empathy Suite - "Compassion Apartments"
at the Palms Casino Resort, which has become one of the most expensive in the world.
The exclusive two-level Sky Villa with an area of 836 square meters, which is located
on the top floors of the reconstructed resort complex, is part of a massive project to
renovate the hotel complex at the casino with a total cost of about $690 million.

The Empathy Suite features two en-suite bedrooms, two massage rooms, a
fitness room, and a cantilever terrace with Jacuzzi and pool overlooking Las Vegas.
Bar for 13 persons surrounded by two halls and media areas that can accommodate
up to 52 guests. Room rates include 24-hour butler service, chauffeur-driven car
service, private art collection tour Palms, access to a theater, club, recording
studio,  and $10,000 resort credit. You can stay in this room for at
 least two nights for $200,000.

Damien Hirst :
„I can’t wait to get into a position to make really bad art and get away with it.
At the moment if I did certain things people would look at it, consider it and
then say "f off". But after a while you can get away with things.“

Damien Hirst :
„I just wanted to find out where the boundaries were.
So far I've found there aren't any. I just wanted to be stopped,
and no one will stop me.“

Damien Hirst :
“Everyone was criticized, even Michelangelo and the authors of the rock paintings:
“Your cave is nothing, but what you painted on the wall is rubbish.”

Damien Hirst :
“To be a cynic, you have to be smart; to be smart enough not to become one,
you need to be wise.“
