Hotel in Ghent with a unique historical atmosphere 1898 The Post

 1898 THE POST
 GRASLEI 16, 9000, GHENT, BELGIUM

The former city post office building with a tower 54 meters high, built in 1898 in the neo-Gothic style by the architect Louis Cloquet in the historical center of Ghent and operated until 2001, was bought by the Zannier Group and after a major renovation became a five-star hotel 1898 THE POST

Overlooking St. Nicholas Church, Hotel 1898 The Post is a stone's throw from St. Bavo Cathedral, Korenmarkt, St. Michael's Bridge, Korenlei Harbor and 300 meters from the Christmas Market.

The original interiors, creating a special vintage atmosphere, were created under the guidance of designer Geraldine Dohogne, a specialist in hotel interiors. Antique furnishings in the rooms, dark green patina on the walls, octagonal marble bathroom tiles, retro dark brass fixtures, and luxury bath amenities are just some of the touches in the masterfully recreated historic space of 1898 The Post.

Antwerp International Airport is 53 kilometers away
